19 of the Russian's 21 victories have been earned on hard courts
A comeback Medvedev won his initial trophy for over two years with success over Corentin Moutet in the tournament final.
The Russian, a former world number one, has endured a difficult period, achieving just one win at the big events and experiencing a difficult moment at the New York tournament.
His inconsistency on the tennis tour - and issues with his service game in particular - caused him dropping out of the top ten and eventually parting ways with long-term mentor his previous coach.
Now working with Johansson and Goetzke, the tennis star has steadily advanced in the last few weeks - peaking in a tightly fought competitive win over challenger Corentin Moutet.
This marks Medvedev's first championship after the Italian tournament and initial on a hard court since March of 2023.
Victory also indicates Medvedev has won 21 titles at 21 different events.
"For the first time I'm at a tournament with my both daughters at once, so to win a championship is particularly special," stated world number 14 Daniil Medvedev.
"This championship is in dedication of my second daughter Victoria, because the first title I achieved when my older daughter Alisa was born was for her."
The athlete, the past champion, had lost his past six title deciders, featuring in Halle previously this season.
The player's counter-punching approach and regular outbursts on the tennis court had prompted commentators to question if his capacity to perform at the top level was over.
But the player has altered his approach in the past month, making an effort to advance forward and compete positively, backed up by an enhanced service.
He recovered from a break down in the initial set against the challenging opponent, winning 4 of the concluding five points to take the lead.
The pair swapped break points in the second set before Moutet, attempting for his first ATP Tour championship, took control to push for a third set.
Moutet rescued four early chances in a close third set before the Russian secured a break to fifteen to close out the victory.
Suitably, the winner secured victory with a point at the net, with Moutet incapable to manage a shot after a lengthy match.
